Full Code of Conduct

The code of conduct has been designed to ensure that all Customers of Members of the Association are protected Financially, Physically, Morally and are presented with the Highest Standard of Driver Training and Care.

The association was set up in 1982.

Over the years a CONSTITUTION developed along with a CODE OF CONDUCT that all members must sign and be bound to.

Should any WAPDI member or member of the public have an issue with a Driving Matter (Test, Driving School , Regulation or just Advice), the Chairperson of the Association should be contacted in the first instance.

Current Chair Person: - Tim Percival Tel No. 01749 870067

A recent case of a driving organisation bringing the industry into disrepute has meant the association making representations to several driving authorities and a local MP. As a result, we have been advised that a proposal for further tightening of current or for the introduction of new tougher legislation to be introduce. This, it is hoped, will reduce the possibility of similar problems in the future.

The members of the organisation in question had to resign or amend their practice and chose to resign their membership.
