The name of the Association shall be

WESTON ASSOCIATION of PROFESSIONAL DRIVING INSTRUCTORS (Incorporating North Somerset and District areas)

The aim of the Association is to provide a forum for DSA Approved Driving Instructors living or working in the North Somerset & District areas.

OBJECTIVES OF THE ASSOCIATION

i.                     To maintain and improve upon Department of Transport standards.

ii.                   To show awareness of the unofficial or unqualified instructors. (Action-notify Secretary who will liaise with appropriate bodies).

iii.                  To promote publicity.

iv.                 To encourage self help and co-operation between member instructors.

v.                   To provide liaison between members and official bodies, such as the Driving Standards Agency or National Associations.

vi.                 To encourage Social and Education events.
