The town of Guardamar has 12 km of beautiful white sandy beaches backed by thousands of ancient pine trees. Guardamar offers many sea sports such as sailing, windsurfing, water-skiing, underwater diving, canoeing, and jet skiing. An important fishing centre, the local specialty is the spiny lobster and the beaches are backed by a variety of eateries.
